For more than 90 years, the Snider family has been producing quality Southern Yellow Pine lumber in East Texas. Now in our fourth generation, we’ve built Pinecone Shavings on that same commitment to quality, consistency, and doing things the right way.

What makes our shavings different starts long before they reach the stall. From the trees grown and harvested in Texas to the lumber milled and shavings bagged at our facility in Marshall, Texas, our entire process happens right here at home.

Pinecone Shavings is truly single-source. Every bag comes directly from our own lumber manufacturing process, giving us control over the quality, flake size, and consistency of our product. No outside suppliers, no mixed sources, and no guessing what’s in the bag.

And we’re not just in the lumber business. Our family has owned and shown horses in both English and Western disciplines for more than 45 years. We know that good bedding needs to do more than keep a stall looking clean. It needs to be absorbent, easy to pick, comfortable for horses, and economical for the people caring for them.

That’s why we produce clean, low-dust, consistent pine shavings designed to perform day after day.
